GoodLife Agriculture has selected TD2 Engineering & Surveying of Omaha for professional services relating to a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessment, one of many regulatory steps needed to validate the safety and impact of the aquaculture farm. This will help assure that any prior contamination from former agricultural inputs (like petrochemicals) can be identified and remediated as needed.

TD2 has also been tasked with Geotechnical Exploration, identifying soil types and contents as well as associated impacts of construction activities. Best practices for mitigation of land disturbance during pad preparation, construction, and post-construction land use are identified as part of a thorough Geotechnical Exploration.
